Hey Chris,
First, thank you very much for your orders!
I believe I see the issue with your kava sessions based on your review. Managing anxiety is for the birds and kava helps quite a bit so I hope this info is helpful.
From what you said you've been using 3 to 10 teaspoons. You should be using tablespoons. Each tablespoon is equal to 3 teaspoons. I use 4 tablespoons for my recipe, so that's about 12 teaspoons. 5 to 6 for beginners isn't out of the question either.
Kava has reverse tolerance. Meaning you'll not feel it as much in the beginning and need to use more root. When u get used to it u need less for the same effects.
My recipe is 32 grams of Kava to 20oz or 600ml water (or other liquid mix). Blend on medium high to high in intervals for 4 minutes. Strain well. Cool. It should be pretty warm when it's done. Then drink.
This is about 4 servings of a pretty strong brew. 32g is about 4 tablespoons. So if you use 5 to 6, u should be good.
There's a guy I talked to recently that's been using 50 to 72 grams. That would floor me now but it's about what I did (50) when I started.
I very much hope this works for you! You bought some of the strongest root out there (temotu purple and kelai) and the damu has a bit of a delayed effect.
Bula!
Zac H.
